Engineering beyond growing monoliths.
EOSX follows a composition-oriented approach. Complex systems are treated as combinations of clearly bounded capabilities, relationships and responsibilities. This is intended to keep architecture understandable, extensible and controllable as functionality grows.
Composition instead of accumulation
New functions should not automatically create new opaque dependencies. Capabilities can be used in different contexts and composed into larger solutions.
Clear structure
The architecture should make it understandable which capability performs which task and how system parts interact, simplifying evolution, replacement and technical review.
Technology-open approach
EOSX is conceived as an overarching engineering foundation rather than a dependency on one programming language, platform or application class.
Standards from the beginning
ISO-oriented quality, security, risk, documentation and traceability requirements as well as open W3C web standards are considered during engineering, contracts, relationships, validation and output rather than added only after completion.
Architecture & reuse
Existing capabilities are reused with their rules and relationships instead of being reimplemented for every project.
